Retro Studios, of Metroid Prime fame, joins Twitter

Retro Studios, the Texas-based, first party developer for Nintendo responsible for critically acclaimed titles such as the Metroid Prime trilogy and Donkey Kong Country Returns, now has an official Twitter account, @RetroStudios.

Retro Studios’ latest game release was last year’s Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Soon after it was released in February, the studio announced that it had started work on a new project for Wii U. Still no word on the specifics, but any Nintendo fan would do well to take advantage of the brand-new, official Twitter feed from the developer. Their first Tweet:
