Octodad: Dadliest Catch Coming to the Wii U eShop on October 29th

With perhaps one of the best names for any game I’ve heard, Octodad: Dadliest Catch, the game starring a normal everyday Dad, is coming to the Wii U eShop in North America and Europe on October 29th. The announcement was made on the official Octodad Twitter account. Octodad stars a normal husband and father who participates in everyday tasks, all while trying not to reveal that he’s an octopus.

All of the DLC released for the game on other platforms will be included when the game launches. A multiplayer mode is available that tasks each player with controlling each of Octodad’s arms and legs. For the first week the game is released, players can pick the game up on the eShop at a 20% discount. Also announced is that Panic Button Games helped with porting the game to the Wii U.

I played Octodad: Dadliest Catch last year and really enjoyed the game. I’d recommend the game to anyone who hasn’t played the game yet on other platforms.

What about you? Will you be picking up Octodad? Let us know in the comments.
