A press release from Nintendo of America has revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes will support local download play using just one copy of the game. This is fantastic news for those with friends who own 3DS systems but are unwilling to purchase the game.
Tri Force Heroes seems to be a more quirky entry in the Zelda franchise. The story takes place in the Kingdom of Hytopia, whose inhabitants pride themselves on their good fashion sense. The kingdom is thrown into disarray when a mysterious witch casts a curse on Princess Styla. The people call for the return of a trio of legendary “Totem Heroes”, and you know what that means: it’s up to you and your friends (online or local) to save the day.
The game will feature 36 unique outfits for our three brave Links to don and 32 stages for players to puzzle their way through. The game hits the 3DS October 23.
