The highly anticipated, free expansion to Shovel Knight, Plague of Shadows, finally has a solid release date: September 17. This date applies to all existing versions of the game and all current regions too. The update that brings us Plague of Shadows also comes with Challenge Mode, which includes speed run challenges, rematches with bosses, tricky puzzles, and other twists that up the game’s difficulty.
