The Mega Man Legacy Collection brings the first 6 Mega Man games to Nintendo 3DS, and now we have a launch window. The physical and digital versions of the Mega Man Legacy Collection will launch in early 2016.
The Legacy Collection features Mega Man 1-6 reborn with the Eclipse Engine. The new engine takes the 8-bit source elements and converts them into HD sounds. A save state option is available for those who want to creep through the game. There is challenge mode with online leaderboards and video replays. Other extras include a massive museum with production art and sketches, a built in music box, enemy databases, video filters, and full, wide, and original viewing options.
The digital version will launch at $14.99 and the physical version will launch at $29.99. More information on the physical versions will be announced at a later date. Sadly no Wii U version is available.
