6 new Alola Pokémon made their formal debut yesterday in a trailer for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. They are:

  • Wimpod, a bug/water type with the ability Wimp Out
  • Bounsweet, a grass type that will have one of two abilities, Leaf Guard or Oblivious
  • Comfey, fairy type that also has two possible abilities, Flower Veil or Triage
  • Mudsdale, a ground type with two possible abilities, Own Tempo or Stamina
  • Mimikyu, a ghost/fairy type with the ability Disguise
  • Bewear, a normal/fighting type that comes with one of two abilities, Fluffy or Klutz

The trailer also shows a glimpse of two features we can expect to see in Sun/Moon: the ability to create your own Pokemon competitions online and Hyper Training, which appears to have similarities to X and Y’s Super Training. See the trailer for yourself below.
