On April 23, fans of SpongeBob and fans of his lovably idiotic friend Patrick will clash in a special Splatoon Splatfest event brought to players thanks to a partnership between Nintendo and Nickelodeon.
That’s not the only unique aspect of this upcoming Splatfest. For the first time in Splatfest history, North American and European players will be playing together. Additionally, the event will exceed the usual 24-hour time frame, starting at 6 a.m. Pacific time on the 23rd and not finishing until 12 p.m. the next day, on the 24th.
SpongeBob and Patrick are sure to feel right at home within the nautical, colorful chaos that is Splatoon. Which team will you be joining?
