September, the month we set aside especially for the Super Mario series, is in its final hours, which means we want to know your final thoughts on any Super Mario game you may have played and/or on Super Mario Maker.
As for me, I enjoyed the heck out of Super Mario Maker this month. I played the game with friends, locally, on more than one occasion, but only one of those occasions really meant something special. Mario’s magic brought joy to a friend of mine whose son had passed away at a young age only two weeks earlier. Seeing classic Mario characters, art styles, and enemies thrown together in the craziest and most imaginative ways brought a genuine smile to her face, and it made me realize that there’s a little bit of Nintendo’s magic lingering in all of us.
