Hyrule Warriors Legends 3D Support Exclusive to New 3DS Models

In an interview with 4gamer.net, and translated by Perfect-Nintendo.com, the producer of Hyrule Warriors Legends, Yosuke Hayashi, has revealed some new information about the game.

To begin with, the 3D feature in Hyrule Warriors Legends will be restricted to only the New 3DS models. Older 3DS models will not be able to use the 3D function because of CPU restrictions. In order to optimize the game on the older 3DS models, the 3D mode needed to be turned off.

Amiibo support will be in Hyrule Warriors Legends. What specific amiibos and their features was not revealed. I would expect the amiibo support to be the same as in Hyrule Warriors on Wii U.

All of the DLC offered in Hyrule Warriors so far will be included in Hyrule Warriors Legends. Yosuke Hayashi did not say if more DLC would come down the road, but the team would consider it if there is a demand for more DLC. The challenge mode currently in Hyrule Warriors for Wii U will not be included due to the screen size being too small.

Finally, Yosuke Hayashi mentions that development is almost complete, and they are working on polishing the game.

Are you excited for Hyrule Warriors Legends? I never played the Wii U version and am looking forward to Legends.
