Publisher 505 Games has announced that Terraria will be coming to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS early next year. The Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions will feature touchscreen controls, allowing players to interact with the world in a new way.
Terraria is an action-adventure sandbox game that allows players to craft and construct items. Local and online multiplayer is available. The 3DS version offers local play for up to 4 friends, and the Wii U version has an 8 player online mode and 4 player splitscreen mode.
The game features over 1,300 crafting recipes, 150 enemies and 15 bosses to battle.
