Developer Simogo has announced that their game Year Walk will be coming to Wii U later this fall. Simogo mentions that the game is not a straight port and the Wii U version allows the developers to have a fresh view on the game.
Year Walk has you venturing out into dark woods where creatures roam. Your character is on a vision quest in 19th century Sweden, where you’ll solve puzzles in your search to see the future and discover if the one you love, loves you back.
The Wii U GamePad has been integrated into the game. The encyclopedia, map, optional hints, and note-taking are available on the GamePad touchscreen. The analog stick on the GamePad will be used to walk around, but to interact with items in the world, you will use the GamePad’s motion controls.
What do you think of the game? Are you planning on picking this up? Let us know in the comments.
