E3 2015: Metroid Prime: Federation Force [Updated]

One of the bigger surprises of Nintendo’s Digital Event was the announcement of Next Level Game’s next title in the Prime Universe, Metroid Prime: Federation Force for the 3DS!

Set to release in 2016, in Metroid Prime: Federation Force you play in first-person, not as heroin Samus Aran, but as Galactic Federation Trooper often mentioned in Samus’ adventures! Locally, you can team up with 3 other friends, making 4-player squad of Federation Troopers to play through the game!

Levels are mission based, having different objectives depending on the levels, like capturing certain creatures for the Galactic Federation for them to do research.

Metroid Prime: Federation Force also includes Blast Ball, that 3-on-3 team shooting sport, having you blast a huge destructive ball into your opposing team’s goal, which was the game that was showed off during Nintendo’s 2015 World Championships!
To help give your team the edge, use the many power-ups, and score 3 goals first to win the match!

Go online to make a 4-person squad, not limited to only local wireless.
Certain missions do require 4-players.
Before the mission starts, you’ll be debriefed, and you’ll choose your weapons and sub-items.
Items include Slow Beam Missiles, Capsules that repair you or your squad’s health, and Shield Generators.
